Prices include UK VAT at 20%

Standard Boat: Glass fibre hull, wood trim, £1,750.
White gelcoat hull with grey internal finish; white gelcoat buoyancy tanks with non-slip tops; low-maintenance oiled Iroko hardwood gunwhales, thwarts, knees and outboard pad; plastic rowlocks; stainless steel bow mooring eye. Approx weight 46kg.

Options (including fitting/labour as applicable):

Sailing Rigs & Options:

- Sprit Sailing Rig including plywood daggerboard/rudder, varnished pine spars (mast and sprit), sail, £850 NB This rig is still available but very few have bought it since the introduction of our:
- Standing Lug Rig (right) on taller mast, with longer "leading edge" for improved performance. Includes swing-up rudder (other items as above) £1,200
- Rig Upgrades
either version (additional cost): window in sail £32; reef in sail £37; two-piece mast £85; boom (both sails can be used with or without) £60
- Rig Ready. Daggerboard case and mast support mouldings and rudder fixings really need to be built in from new, so if you don't currently want a rig but may do in the future this is a good compromise (some DIY required). £190.
- Glassfibre Daggerboard on sailing rig, upgrade cost from standard plywood. These are stiffer and lower maintenance, with a better "profile". £110.

- Longitudinal Seat. This slots in between the centre thwart and aft buoyancy tank, facilitating balance of different loads, particularly useful when motoring singlehanded. Retrofittable. £120.
- Coloured hull, £65. A dark blue, green or burgundy would look very
nice, but please be warned it will show scratches more easily.
- Teak woodwork in lieu of Iroko. There is nothing wrong with Iroko, but it
does need oiling to avoid cracks/splits over time (particularly in hot climates).
Teak can be oiled, or simply left to its own devices, weathering to a silver-grey colour. Teak is also slightly harder and ultimately more durable. £250.
- Teak-decked buoyancy tanks, bow and stern, £350.
- Rubber Fendering around gunwhales. £160.
- Keel Wear Strip. Brass or Teak. This involves filling the keel moulding with wood and glassing over the top, so that we have something to screw the wearstrip into. The teak one won't last as long, but is replaceable and less likely to damage your deck if being used as a yacht tender. Brass £145 or Teak £130
.
- Bilge keels/tiedown handles fitted to aft section. Usually specified by customers
wishing to store their dinghy upside down on deck, but also useful on a slipway etc as they keep the boat upright. They are standard teak handles and reasonably easy to replace, but not to fit the first time. £85.
- Chromed Rowlocks. Fitted as an upgrade from plastic, look nicer, more durable. £23.
- Transom Wheels. Pair of stainless steel fold-up and removable 6" diameter wheels with inflatable tyres, for easy movement on slipways, jetties etc. Outboard can remain on transom, between fittings. Note - these are not the useless-on-anything-except-carpet 2" castor wheels some builders fit! £135
- Bow Handle. Tubular stainless steel, or teak, handle, complements transom wheels. £45
- Additional mooring/lifting eyes. We can custom fit eyes to suit a specific mooring or davit width etc (some customers keep their Pram Dinghy assembled on davits for short passages and on deck for longer voyages) price depends on type/location eg folding padeyes £19 each.
- Towbar platform carrying base
(click here Towbar platform). No need for a trailer, and much easier to load than a roof rack, especially singlehanded. Fits standard towbar, includes boat adapter and ratchet straps. £320

We have also incorporated many other customer requests in our boats - please ask if not listed above.

OARS
We do not include oars, as we find many customers have their own already, and those who don't want different things. For the pram dinghy we recommend approx 6ft 6" oars if the main rower is less than 5ft 6" tall, and 7ft oars if they are taller. If you have mixed height rowers then probably go for the shorter version. Experienced rowers or tall, strong men might even go to 7ft 6". We can supply any of the following:
- Varnished pine flat blade oars. These look great, are nice to use, "feel right", and good value. Made in Finland. £62/pair for 6ft 6", £64/pair for 7ft.
Varnished spruce spoon blade oars. If rowing is your primary/exclusive means of propulsion, spoon blades are more efficient but harder to make hence £103 per pair (7ft 2" length). These are rather nice, and a lot less than an outboard.

Outboard Motor Prices, when bought with a Pram dinghy:
- Tohatsu 2.5hp petrol £525
- Tohatsu 3.5hp petrol £572
- Torqeedo 503S electric £1,124
- Torqeedo 1003S electric £1,304

The Tohatsu 2.5 and Torqeedo 503 are perfectly adequate for the Pram but some people buy the slightly more expensive and more powerful but otherwise identical options - ie Tohatsu 3.5 and Torqeedo 1003 - instead (eg for use on another dinghy). More information on outboards here: Petrol & Electric Outboards

Please contact us by phone or email if you wish to discuss the specification of your boat and/or the options required are not listed above. We can also supply the Pram Dinghy to any stage of completion, for you to add woodwork etc in your own time.

Delivery is dependent on distance from our workshop (near Christchurch, Dorset), either by courier or of preference in our own van. If we're doing it we charge a £25 flat fee plus 40p per mile (each way) with the main advantages being that we can offer a reasonable indication of timing and you get a "handover" from someone who knows the boats. Courier deliveries start at about £150 (including packing etc), up to £250 for more remote UK destinations or £300 if a sailing rig is ordered. We do offer overseas delivery but this will be quoted on an individual basis.

You can also pick up your new boat yourself, by arrangement.
