| (1) Nestaway GRP Pram Dinghy development boat (unfinished). This is the first hull we took out of the moulds when we started making the glassfibre version of our Pram Dinghy. We started fitting it out but in the process had so many ideas for modifications that we decided to make another one, so it never got finished... There are standard moulded buoyancy chambers at the bow and stern, but currently no seats in the centre. The outer |

| (2) Nestaway all-wood Pram Dinghy. A wooden dinghy very similar to our currrent Pram Dinghy, cold-moulded in double-diagonal mahogany (much like the "Faireys" constructed in the 1950s and 60s), with glass/ epoxy sheathing for abrasion resistance. At 8ft 8" she is slightly longer than standard as we built her over extended moulds (standard beam). Built 2007/8, she hasn't been used much - we've been concentrating on the production glassfibre version - and is currently sanded ready for a couple of coats of |
varnish and paint to make her spectacular again. She has the facility to take a rig
(not included) and whilst originally built for leeboards we could retro-fit a dagger-
board case if preferred. She has some very nice finishing touches including the
buoyancy tank decking, in alternating strips of Khaya and Cedar (with Sapele
centre plank), beautifully figured Sapele "hog" (plank running down centre of
inside), and solid mahogany centre thwarts. Price as she is now (fittings stripped
but included, ready to varnish etc) £2,950, any additional work to be quoted on
receipt of specification. Or, if you enjoy carpentry and finishing, buy her as she is
and put her back in commission as you wish. (If you asked us to build another
one as she is in the photo above, we would quote approx £5000).
(3) Sevylor SVX200 inflatable two man kayak. These are not too bad as
inflatables go... one of the early light grey ones (they are yellow nowadays), about
eight years old and has been used a fair bit but still holds air fine. It is quite stained,
mostly from the Thames, which may or may not come out with vigorous cleaning.
It has two seats but no paddles. £60
